Satellites Programme

Satellites Programme is Collective's development programme for artists and producers based in Scotland, specifically developed to facilitate practitioners at a pivotal, emergent, point in their career. The programme consists of discussions, events, exhibitions, retreats, mentoring and an annual publication, seeking to foster criticality through peer development and review. Selection for the programme is through an open submission to a new panel of selectors, appointed by Collective each year.

You can watch a short film about the programme here

2018 participants are: Helen McCrorie, Emmie McLuskey, Kimberley O’Neill and Katie Shannon

Due to the redevelopment of our new home on Calton Hill, the open call for Collective's next Satellites Programme will be announced in 2019, with application submission in April 2019. To receive updates on recruitment, like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter or sign up to receive our e-bulletins.

Proposals

Unfortunately Collective is not able to review unsolicited proposals. Please check if you are eligible for Satellites Programme.

Volunteers and Trainees

Volunteers and trainees are core to the achievements and ambition of Collective. Their creative and practical support make Collective what it is today. Volunteers have supported artists projects, initiated and organised their own events and contributed to the development of the organisation. Collective is proud to support the development of individuals and was pleased to have our work with volunteers recognised through an investing in volunteers award in 2010. For further information please contact us.

Collective is pleased to support a Creative Trainee as part of Scotland's Year of Young People, 2018. The Year of Young People 2018 provides a platform to promote and celebrate the talents, achievements and contributions of Scotland’s incredible young people.
