Clara Ursitti works with fragrance and performance, creating installations and interventions that delve into the social and psychological aspects of scent.
Collective recently commissioned Clara Ursitti to explore Calton Hill’s history as a place for car enthusiasts to congregate and share their love of cars. Clara worked with the East of Scotland Car Club over a period of 10 months to produce a one-off performance and fragrance exploring the unique sounds, smell and look of the club’s cars.
Bring Back the Hill is a limited edition fragrance which documents this project with the East of Scotland Car Club. Inspired by the smell of the cars, the fragrance has notes of diesel and rubber. Each perfume is hand blended and presented in bespoke packaging sandblasted at Ace Bodyshop, Scotland.
Bring Back the Hill is available for £70 and is an edition of 8. It can be purchased in person at Collective or by mail order. Please email for further details or a quote for delivery.
